Halls of Legion
The Halls of Legion is an dungeon consisting of five distinct, increasingly challenging “halls”. Each hall consists of 2 waves of NMs and a final NM.
Requirements
To enter, you must speak with the Legion Tome outside of Lower Jeuno in Rolanberry Fields. Once inside, you’ll be in the “lobby” area. The lobby contains the Legion Tome, used for entry, the Legion Liberto, used to see which Halls are currently active, and the Armoury Crate, which contains the treasure for players on completing a Hall.
Once inside, each hall has specific requirements for entry. They are designed to do in order.
You’ll need 60,000 gil for each floor and one tradable item.
hall | item | key item |
---|---|---|
An | 1x Fire Cluster | None |
Ki | 1x Lofty Trophy (drops in Hall of An) | Legion Medal: An |
Im | 1x Mired Trophy (drops in Hall of Ki) | Legion Medal: Ki |
Muru | 1x Soaring Trophy (drops in Hall of Im) | Legion Medal: Im |
Mul | 1x Veiled Trophy (drops in Hall of Muru) | Legion Medal: Muru |
Each hall can support an alliance of 18 players to enter at once (all players must be in the Lobby to be zoned in); however, the content is designed for a balanced group of 2-4 “fresh 99” players.
Rewards
-
Defeating monsters within the Halls earn players Tanzanite Jewels, Alexandrite, and Legion Points.
-
Successfully completing a Hall flags players to open the Armoury Crate in the Lobby. Each Hall has a unique set of rewards including rare weapons (many that have unique appearances) and a chance at the HQ versions of the Pioneer armor.
- Hall of An - i109 gloves and hats
- Hall of Ki - i109 boots, legs, and body
- Hall of Im - i119 gloves and hats
- Hall of Muru - i119 boots and legs
- Hall of Mul - i119 body
-
Saarlan, located in Rolanberry Fields outside the entrance to Legion, provides a storefront to convert Legion Points into the Pioneer +1 armor sets, the Legion rings and earrings, and more!
- Clear Hall of An: Purchase “Lofty” rings
- Clear Halls of An, Ki: Purchase i109 Pioneer +1 armor sets.
- Clear Halls of An, Ki, Im: Purchase “Veiled” rings
- Clear All Halls: Purchase i119 Pioneer +1 armor sets, earrings, and trophies.
The Lofty rings with Enchantments do not have their enchantments; they are always-on modifiers to the item so that players are free to augment the items.
The Veiled rings and Legendary earrings with Legion latent effects instead have always-on modifiers so that these items have more use outside of the Halls of Legion.

Encounters
Hall of An
The Hall of An is the introductory hall and contains powerful versions of the traditional “land kings” – adamantoises, wyrms, and behemoths. The Hall Boss, the Lofty Harpeia, is a potent spell caster, so be ready to shield, stun, and silence through this Hall.
All participating players will receive the key item: Legion Medal: An and title Subjugator of the Lofty for successful completion of the Hall.
Hall of Ki
The Hall of Ki is the second hall and contains powerful versions of beast type monsters – cerberus, khimairas, and hydras. The Hall Boss, the Mired Mantis is a potent melee fighter with an instant kill ability that players should watch out for!
All participating players will receive the key item: Legion Medal: Ki and title Subjugator of the Mired for successful completion of the Hall.
Hall of Im
The Hall of Im is the third hall and contains powerful versions of undead – corse, dvergrs, and vampyrs. The Hall Boss, the Soaring Naraka is a potent melee fighter with a high hit rate and devastating multi-hit attacks.
All participating players will receive the key item: Legion Medal: Im and title Subjugator of the Soaring for successful completion of the Hall.
Hall of Muru
The Hall of Muru is the fourth hall and contains powerful beast and dragon type monsters – amphipteres, monoceros, and sandworms. The Hall Boss, the Veiled Ironclad is a defensive melee fighter who’s standard melee attacks each have a unique effect, so be careful and position party members accordingly.
All participating players will receive the key item: Legion Medal: Muru and title Subjugator of the Veiled for successful completion of the Hall.
Hall of Mul
The Hall of Mul is the fifth and final hall and contains a gauntlet of the previous encounters, higher level “Paramount” versions, and, finally, either the Paramount Gallu or Paramount Botulus.
It’s random on which final boss appears in the zone and each has its own rewards.
All participating players will receive the title Legendary Legionnaire which serves as the proof players have completed The Halls of Legion as a pre-requisite for other content.
Tips
While the content is soloable, it’s highly recommended to bring a few friends. Here are our recommendations.
- Bring along the typical meds: holy water, remedy, echo drops, and some form of reraise.
- Being able to use both physical and magic damage is very important. Some enemies even change their resistances during the fight.
- Remember common battle tactics like dispelling buffs, bar-spells, stunning spells and abilities, and, in some cases and for some job, kiting/binding mobs and fighting at a distance.
- Some abilities, such as a behemoth’s meteor spell can be run away to prevent damage.
